Seeing Stripes

Literally! how does she do it? Jan Hodgson is a beautiful pastel artist, winning 1st prize at the RNA in 2008. Jan will sketch the composition first, and this is what takes most of the time - its a wonder she doesnt go "cross-eyed" painting these stripes. Jan delivered a couple of smaller pieces of still life (small square sizes) - An Apple a Day and Pomegranate - see images below.

Hey Janet, I finally found your blog. It looks great. How long till it is accessible from the website. Thats when you should really start getting hits and comments.
