Sculptor & Artist Denise Murray

"Six O'clock"

In the Studio

on the job - an installation in the city

welding a sculpture - in the studio

"Sitting" (cold cast bronze)

"Its all About the Shoes"

"Venessa" (left) & "Dinnertime"

Introducing my wonderful artist - Denise Murray, a local artist & one of the most passionate artists I know! Denise has taught me so much about the artworld in general and I would be lost without her - she is my mentor many times over, if I have to ask any "tricky" questions about art - she always has the answer. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you might get the chance to meet Denise - as she also works in the gallery for me from time to time. I would like to show you some beautiful work she has produced. Particularly, the cold cast bronzes, which are a perenial favourite, the new addition is "Molly" and she is adorable! my little niece will be soon be receiving "Molly" for her 21st birthday, it will be her first piece of art and what an introduction. The bronze scultpures are amazing, and recently we sold a very significant piece in the gallery allowing Denise to purchase tons of bronze for upcoming productions (relatively speaking). I have never heard anyone so excited about buying "bronze"! luckily she is not into diamonds or Loius Vuitton bags or poor Laurindo (partner and fellow sculpture) would be worse for wear. Enjoy the images - they are just superb.

Further Paintings by Richard Bogusz

I can just see this collection of paintings (square shaped) in a large entry above a sofa table, what a welcoming sight to see each time you enter your home. You could hang the three paintings side-by-side down a hallway - making it your very own art gallery walk, a nice talking point as you welcome guests into your home.
"Neverending" 90x90cms
"Nature Studies"90x90cms

"The Ridge" 90x90cms
Love the larger works by Richard, which are three beautiful acrylics measuring 90x90cms each. Each one tells such a different story, and I love to watch customers in the gallery stop, look and respond to R's work. I meant to post these images earlier, but this blogging thing takes time! I promise to get better - I just need a big prod every now and then!

One of our Favourite Artists

Just unpacked! and what a beautiful selection. Richard has also delivered three larger pieces measuring 90x90cms, so I'll try to post these once I have good images to hand. There is such beautiful detail in this selection - the delicate brush strokes, butterflies, flowers in the hair of the girls - just divine.

These four paintings are quite small in size, but so divine, you really have to see them "in situ" then you appreciate the texture and the beautiful brush strokes in which Richard is so well known for. This collection just sparkle like jewels...
