Pottery by Yvonne Bouwman

Seascape Dishes

Landscape Dishes

Seascape in small and large sizes

Introducing the wonderful qualities of pottery - but this potter has something very unique.  With many layers of oxides embilished over the top of these dishes, you get a sense of depth when you view them - Yvonne drew inspiration from the Australian outback with the salt pans and rugged terraine.  The seascpape dishes are based on the seabed surrounding the Australian coastline.   Yvonne Bouwman has been making these wonderful little dishes for many years, and has supplied many councils and Premiers of Brisbane over the years (to give to dignitories). Yvonne has just supplied a number of dishes to the Australian consulate to be proudly displayed at the Chinese Expo.  Fantastic corporate gifts AND made in Brisbane.  They come in "Landscape" and "Seascape" beautifully boxed with a little artist card enclosed.

She is amazingly talented. They are so beautiful. The colours and textures are stunning. It must be beautiful by the bay today I can imagine the sun glistening on the water and the gentle tapping of the rigging on the boats....ahhh Manly, cheers Katherine
