The Tree

"Country Charisma"

"Alongside Wynnum Creek"

After attending the premier during the week of the wonderful new movie "The Tree" which was shot around our country town Boonah -  I loved the star of the show, which was the huge Moreton Bay Fig tree.  We have dozens of these beautiful trees along our foreshore and parks at Manly, Lota and Wynnum - so just sharing a couple of images of paintings we have which feature this almighty tree.  These works are by Lorraine Rogers and are watercolour.  The movie by the way, was just beautiful.

yes, why would you put palm trees in their place? they dont have any shade at all, and of course the birds just love the fig trees - thanks so much for your comments!
